The Artist Project is excited to announce Scotiabank as our latest sponsor! Scotiabank and The Artist Project have teamed up to offer 1 artist or artist collective a space to create an engaging and impactful outdoor entrance installation!
We are currently accepting applications for large-scale installations until Friday, February 3. The winner of this Scotiabank feature space will have their work be the front and focal point for visitors upon arriving at the show! This is an excellent opportunity to participate in a professional-level art fair, enjoy the perks of exhibiting artists, and showcase your work to gallerists, collectors and art enthusiasts!
**Artists will be awarded a $500 Honorarium and up to $1,500 to cover material costs!**
CRITERIA:
- Your installation will be inspired by this year’s 2012 theme of ENERGY.
- Your installation will not exceed 10×20 feet.
- You will have access to a white, hollow platform riser if necessary. The riser is 10×20 feet & 16 inches high, it cannot be painted on or nailed into.
- Your installation must allow for access to the show entrance from March 1-4.
- Your expenses will not exceed the allocated materials budget of $1,500.
- Your installation must be installed in a safe manner and abide by all by-laws, laws, and safety standards.
- Your installation must be durable to withstand the outdoors for the duration of the show.

Who Can Apply?
- All artists or artist collectives
Winners Will Receive:
- An outdoor space immediately outside the show entrance at Toronto’s Queen Elizabeth Building (with electrical if necessary)
- $500 honorarium
- Up to $1,500 for supplies, equipment, etc.
- Recognition on installation piece, Show Guide, and website
- Artist Profile on the website
- Recognition in E-blast announcement
